The general assumption might be that gray in a bedroom makes the atmosphere sad and depressing. We’ve seen the importance of metallic colour tones in modern design rising in the past few years, and within this phenomenon the trend for copper starting for a bit more than two years now. This year the trend has just skyrocketed, you cannot miss seeing some copper in every single vitrine of design shops.
Also almost every design magazine mentioned in their recent issues that Dulux Colour of the Year for 2015 is ‘Copper Blush’. This colour has depth, warmth, and it’s simply surprising, it’s a beautiful element of the natural palette of the earth.
Copper combines perfectly with pinks, neutrals, whites and other orange hues, as well as with greens – let it be a plant or some cool mint.
